I was just there in June'12. There was MASSIVE construction in process. The hard product is very good. The service left much to be desired, particularaly at the upstairs bar/resturant. I doubt I return.

Fullerton looks nice from the outside however unfortunately is nothing really that great.
If you want great in Singapore- there is only the valley wing at the Shangri-La. If you don't want that- step down a notch and just stay at the Conrad (which is a good business hotel although not luxury- they do however have the great Acca Kappa toiletries on the executive levels as well as top rate breakfast in Oscars).
