We recently used Flipkey to rent an apt in Bangkok. Found VRBO had very little for the area whereas Flipkey had an abundance.

My husband recently quit his job so we are planning to travel around for the next couple of years until we decide where we want to put down roots. Our plan is anything less than 5 days to stay at hotels, 6 days or longer we will look for an apt to rent. I don't envisage doing a lot of cooking if we are at an apt but it is nice to throw a load of washing in the machine rather than be worrying about the cost.
