My wife keeps getting Amex premier rewards offers with the 50K bonus points. Only problem is she hates to travel; I'm the world traveler, so I'm trying to figure out how I could take advantage of the offer. The logical transfer would be to Aeroplan, for access to Star Alliance carriers. So she joins Aeroplan, transfers points there. Can she then use points to buy a ticket for me? Is there another scenario that's better?
