Thanks for the advice, I took a look at the prices, and they seem moderate (100$), but we'll still "lose" a day on the way, since we'll have to stay in Chengdu till we can take the bus to Jiuzhaigou the next morning. A moderately priced flight from Xian to Jiuzhaigou would solve this problem....
