Ok so I currently am a Silver Medallion member and I have 42,265 MQM's year to date. I have a flight scheduled for sure this December that will push me up to Gold level.

However I would like to redeem some miles for a ticket (2 actually) now. Will this reduce my current MQM balance and prevent the flight I take in December from pushing me up to Gold level? Or can I redeem the miles and the MQM level will not lower?
