Just a few thoughts based on a few emails and private messages received privately wondering if I was moving on from Gold Passport perhaps down on them and or losing interest in the program. That’s clearly not the case in fact I remain committed and passionate about Hyatt Gold Passport as I am about our Hyatt community.
I’m not that far from my lifetime Diamond status something I probably wouldn’t be working towards if I joined the program 5 years ago instead of many years ago when the going was more fun and the value amazing.

I am concerned for others that Gold Passport in a mature program world doesn't become boring and stodgy in promotional opportunity.
Despite my comments directed at promotional opportunities the program has never been in better hands by the current management team and what they have done to better connect the program and integrate that into the guest experience end making it one of the most desirable programs at the top tier level.

My comments primarily are directed at the satisfactory average promotions we are seeing over the past year or two and the though that Faster Free Nights or something like it are not just icons of a past world
Gold Passport or what was once known as “The Little Program that Could” that could take on the majors even with a smaller portfolio of hotels by building and promoting a better mousetrap for lack of better words by trying harder.

Hyatt has been great to me and I continue to passionately enjoy the other great aspects of Hyatt Gold Passport program its credit card partners
(Sorry international folks )and many of their exceptional hotels ^
Cheers
