Forever? Probably not, as some sort of 2 stays for 1 free night promo is something that eventually will be part of the Hyatt picture again. It might be not come back in years or even more than a decade, but eventually some here will be around to see it reincarnated.

Between the demise of the G bonuses, the coma status of 2-for-1 promo (e.g. FFN promo), and the rise of the (US) Hyatt credit card customers, staying at Hyatt hotels to earn free nights is nowhere near as lucrative or useful for customers as considering alternatives.

There was a time when Hyatt was my default choice when traveling for work or leisure. Not anymore, even as the program and at-property delivery remains pretty decent overall.
