That's very nice. Similar words were used for carrying on the CP brand. The words are necessary - the alternative would not be stated. But with the cutbacks about to be severe at UA, it might be nice for Star Alliance to look into recruiting a solvent partner and AC to consider codeshares with an airline that is more likely to operate in the long term: CO, NW, HP are not part of any other major alliance and they seem to be in good shape (go to their FT sections for threads on the subject).
