And, like OP said, waiting for BB10 is a gamble. Unless they start showcasing BB10 products soon, their ever-falling market share will continue to dwindle.
As I said I only do certain things on my BlackBerry I don't even make calls so the fact that it doesn't have apps that can use an accelerometer, touch screen or play angry birds doesn't worry me. I also get up to 5 days battery out of my Bold and no-one else I know with a different smartphone has anything like that, they're recharging everyday. I wanted something that did Email very well (everything else was a secondary concern) and for that the Berry (Bold) range was perfect, BBM rocks as well. It is also dirt cheap to run at £3.33 a month (£40/year) versus
vastly more a month for anything else. Yes if you need something akin to a small computer for web browsing, doing remote desktop or something like that in your pocket then it's likely something else might tickle your fancy but having tried the rest I liked the physical keyboards on the Bold the most. I also tried the Nokia keyboard phones and other similar makes with physical keyboards before I invested in the Bold which was £350 (sim free).
I realise that I am not a typical user.
