Exactly the same as flying on the JL code/JL metal SYD-NRT with a much cheaper fare, save money, forego SC's.

Because unlike some of those OW 'partners' both sides are pushing the
"treat each other’s customers as our own" line, which is setting a much higher standard than the OW norm, and suggests the EK deal means as much if not more than the BA or AA links that led to them giving those bonuses to QF FFs!
This oft repeated line implies that the basic benefits of QF FF will be replicated when flying with EK: if I get a bonus on QF, then this line suggests I get it on EK too!
As I say, if they don't then this line is just propaganda!
