The title says it all. What is currently the best smartphone option for someone who needs/prefers a physical keyboard?

I currently have an aging blackberry in need of replacement but RIM's current product is really out of date and doesn't appear to have been improved much in the last few years. Bby 10 won't be released til 2013 and will need a new phone sooner than that. Just wondering what the current best options are.

As for the inevitable questions about why I prefer a physical keyboard -
I use my phone to write long messages from remote areas and quality of writing is critical. Writing is often laden with technical jargon and sometimes multiple languages so Swype/predictive text type solutions don't seem to work. Past attempts with Iphones were not a success, too slow for a long winded message, though perfectly fine for brief SMS or email.
