Questions about transfers, switches and upgrades
I have been trying to make an Avios booking on JL for LHR-NRT-FUK in late December but the final sector was proving problematic so in the end I decided to go for LHR-NRT-HND-FUK.
The LHR flight arrives at 1600 and the HND leaves at 19:30. I presume we have enough time to make the connection? We have a baby in tow but we will be in F and are BA Gold. Hopefully, this may help. I was also wondering whether at check-in at LHR they might let us switch to my original desired plan of LHR-NRT-FUK? It would be some much more convenient with the baby!
If we do end up having to go to HND is it possible to get an upgrade to domestic C or F from HND-FUK? Have tried with Avios but there seems to be no option to do this. How much would it cost at check-in to do this?
