Was looking at airline pricing for various dates. The JFK to SIN flight on Delta in the past was not competitively priced for flights to Singapore with a connection in Narita before.

I checked for flights this time and now the JFK to SIN via NRT flights are coming in at the cheapest price point. EWR to SIN on United is coming in at less but EWR is further from me and JFK is more accessible so the Delta flights are by far the most competitive now.

Plus the flights I saw had the lie flat seating so hopefully after trips on the coach class seating, one will get upgraded to the newer lie flat seating.

In the past Delta was not really showing JFK to SIN connection routes if I recall or they had higher pricing.

Hopefully this is the start of Delta becoming more competitive on the Asian markets where they have a lot of potential.

I realize different airlines can have different pricing on the route at times but this is the first time I've seen Delta as the price leader on the JFK to NRT to SIN route.
