And yes, OP, it's really, really dumb to put electronics in your luggage. Even if you have a lock (guess what? TSA can unlock your lock, that's their job).
Article one talks about Delta, this was on Alaska. Articles 2 and 3 address thefts in baggage screening and TSA. Is TSA involved in baggage screening on arrival?
