The fact it's in the middle of no where, miles away from anywhere of interest,
Nice pubs in Greenwich, by the river. Some nice restaurants on the Wharf, pubs at Limehouse on the Thames, all under a half hour on the DLR. A quick check at tfl.gov.uk is a good heads up. LGW, LHR and STN all have nothing of interest remotely as close.
