Take the Avios or try Oman Air?
OK, what should I do?

Option to fly on OneWorld or Oman Air for pretty much the same price.

The OneWorld routing does give more flexibility and a bucket load of miles into the household account (c 90k) but has a skislope seat (AY) on the long hauls.

Oman Air looks like a cracking product but has an inflexible route and - as far as I can ascertain - no usable miles.

I reckon Finnair wins, but am open to the wisdom of the crowd!
