Short version:

Flight cancelled.

Agent gave option of rebooking through Chicago.

You said yes, therefore accepting the new itinerary.

You got angry. Post rant on (seemingly nothing) why they couldn't have served you better.


Moral of the story: you have nothing to be upset about. Cancellations happen, and they presented an alternative. If you didn't like that then say no. But you said yes. Sure, would have been nce to get a more knowledgable agent but that doesnt always happen. Be proactive. Have a list of other routes available to tell the agent.
