Despite that I'm Irish, there is something a little comforting in stepping aboard a BA plane in a far-flung place and hearing Estuary English announcements. Not as good as "Dia dhaiobh a chairde, tá fáilte romhaibh ar an eitilt seo go dtí Aerfort Chorcaí", mind.
