I think that reads: We'll fly an A330 from MEL and BNE to SIN, and codeshare on the EK flights. Also, if you are used to the really low prices EK had for ex-SIN flights to MEL/BNE, you are royally screwed while we laugh all the way to the bank.
Still, all the talk about retiming flights to SIN is just marketing making use of the fact that it's impossible to maintain the current schedule of arriving into SIN at around 10pm, with the "return" flights departing 2 hours earlier.
