I hope that someone can help me out on this...

A friend of ours was recently widowed so once the funeral etc was over we invited her to come stay with us in Nova Scotia for a few weeks.

Jean booked Air Condor {I think they are connected with Lufthansa} to fly from MAN to FRA then YHZ returning the opposite way.

All went well on the outgoing but the return trip didn't go well at all.

The flight left YHZ {yesterday 11th Sept} some 3 hours late heading for FRA, arriving at FRA about 2h 30min late, {at 10:45am}, so Jean missed the connecting Lufthansa flight to MAN.

Jean is getting on a bit and is anything other than a frequent flyer, she was left to fend for herself at FRA being given the run around between the Air Condor desk and the LH desk for a couple of hours.

The first flight they could get her on was 17:30, leaving her to fend for herself for over 6 hours.

Shouldn't Air Condor at least have offered her some food/drink coupons or at least accompanied her to get her reworked boarding pass sorted out, Jean is in her late 60's and can't walk all that well.

I would appreciate your comments before I write to Air Condor on her behalf.

I should mention that the reason for the flight delay from YHZ was a Technical Problem, it seems that a nut had come loose somewhere in the hydraulic system and they had to get Air Canada technicians to sort it out.
