They could do the whole thing better - like "include/not include properties that may charge a resort fee" when you agree to the booking. But they don't. And they do tell you it might be coming, although I respectfully disagree that it is "clear". Clear, to me, is big red print stating "bookings in the area you have chosen may include a resort fee. Do you wish to continue?" with a little box for me to check indicating my acceptance. Hold me hand and walk me through it, don't bury the darn thing in fine print.
But there is no way I think this is law-suit worthy with a normal resort fee price in a normal resort fee area. My resort fee was 16.95 per night... which made my "deal" not a great deal but a mediocre deal, but I did manage to get a better room and the wifi was really good, so eh...I'll get over it, and avoid PL again because I think I don't like them much.
Does anyone remember when you could use PL for fuel and groceries? I did PL for fuel once, now THAT was a nightmare
