I suspect you could as long as Delta is able to offer you award seats for SVO-VVO.

As an example (not DL specific but still maybe representative), OK (another Skyteam carrier) was offering me a BAX-SEA routing for the price of Europe-USA award ticket. Specifically for BAX or OVB there are no SkyTeam routes to USA other then from SVO and one more connection in Europe/USA.
