On the weekend I am flying into BKK on one ticket and have a 8-hour connection in BKK on another ticket. I am unable to access my PNR to print my NH boarding pass (codeshare flight - UA operated by NH. I have been able to access my NH PNR for UA codeshares in the past however not this time).

I believe TG handles NH's transfer desk I would like to get my boarding pass and then clear immigratlon to head into the city. I plan to be back before the check-in counter opens which is why I am trying to get my boarding pass before I leave the airport.

Many thanks

While the ANA desk is indeed operated by TG the problem you'll have is the appropriate desk for you won't be open 8 hours before you're ongoing flight. I believe they open 3 hours prior to pushback.

Last night I flew BKK-NRT on NH as a UA codeshare and checked in online with NH and printed out BPs. Never needed to even hit their checkin desk. Look here and you'll find that BKK is an airport that doesn't require you to show at the streetside checkin counter.

The fee you're apparently talking about (cryptically) is the 700THB departure tax/transfer immigration fee. This has been hit and miss recently.

OP, the bottom line is you can access the transit desks on floor 3 without a BP. When you encounter the escalator dragon issue the magic words ("transfer desk") while never losing your walking pace.

To answer your question: Yes, it is possible to access immigration after dealing with the transfer desk* which, in your case, shouldn't be necessary.

* Look for the little narrow hallway between the information desk and the up escalators just to the west of the A/B/C/D transfer security. This leads down to the 2nd floor and to immigration.
