They definately paint some aircraft at YYZ. The Jazz aircraft are painted elsewhere, due to costs (AC do not use College Pro Painters)as are some CRJ's. They go to a non unionized shop.

On average they go for a complete paint job every 5 years. It is also possible that most YYZ painting is cosmetic.
