We do indeed operate with the same crew compliment as our Worldwide colleagues on the 747, which is 14, normally compromising of 1 CSM, 1 or 2 FTCSM and 12/13 main crew. As with WW, CSM coordinates the service in the CW cabin on the lower deck, as well as carrying out mandatory safety aspects, the IFE and saying hello to our customers in F, GCL, Prem and GC.

It has been established on here (numerous times) that when MF first launched, we were a new fleet and indeed a new concept at BA. With that, as happened at SFLGW there were teething problems, incidents etc. However 2 years on, MF is bedding in, receiving some good feedback and also to note there is no overall increase in safety incidents in comparison to other fleets and as we all know a safety incident must also be reported.

The defib/survival pack story has indeed been victim to chinese wispers. Placing a notice, as described on the flight deck door would be a no no under any circumstances and we have a set protocol in place for when our flight crew undertake controlled rest - no need for a notice of any kind and I am sure our Flight Crew would have an issue which such a practise.

Emergency videos can play without prompt in malfunctions of equipment, and indeed when the aircraft does something out of the ordinary, the crew are there to reassure passengers in these rare situations.

I think it is best not to listen to stories, where the real truth can be somewhat distorted after it has passed between various individuals.

It is good to see coherent and well-supported rebuttal quoted above of some of the nonsense which certain elements of more bitter and marginalised elements of legacy crew still seem to want to continue promulgate.

People aren't fooled by the propaganda any more.

Has-beens who backed the wrong horse, rather like these horrific unionistas at the TUC this week demonstrating the worst elements of thuggish and bullying behaviour as they sell T-shirts in anticipation of the death of an octogenarian suffering from a serious degenerative condition:

Just appalling.
