Amex UK compensation for inadvertent cancellation of supplementary cards.
Back in July, I had a bit of a problem with Amex. They managed somehow to cancel the supplemetary cardholders card. Which had all sorts of implications, and was inconvenient.
I discussed it with a couple of people at their Brighton office, and they managed to sort out a new card in a few days - I was pretty cross about the mix up but it was not the end of the world.
Yesterday I checked my account - and there were 10,000 more membership rewards than I had thought. And today there was a letter saying that they had investigated, said "mea culpa" and put £100 onto my account.
Impressed and delighted - good customer care.
