Class J, on the other hand, is a great deal (both in terms of cash outlay and FOPs received), and I almost always go for J when flying domestically on JL.

One thing I've been pleased with has been the FOP bonus for certain JMB credit card holders (I've got the Club-A version) this year.
I think F is great to consider if when you are doing your JGC MR and you have the following problems
A) Lack of time and need to bang out FOP quickly
B) You want luxury
C) You want to get all 50k within one international flight as with Class J you won't make it but bang it all out in F and you'll have enough for JGC if all flights in F

I am sure there are some people that value time over money as getting JGC takes min 5 days for most suggestions made so far.

Only thing that sucks about JL credit card is DC card... i've spend more time than anyone should on the phone to them and even their translators won't let me chat them up to my disappointment. Slightly off topic but they "accidentally" charged me again for a JAL flight that was being refunded as the refund transaction went through as a positive instead of a negative and it took them 4 weeks to correct it and made me pay for it again then refunded me in cash cause their systems couldn't void the transaction even if they knew it was a mistake.

It's unbelievable so anyone thinking of getting JGC in Japan with the credit card.... just don't have high expectations of DC Card. I was saying tonight jokingly to Fumitani that i bet some old dinosaur is processing all the miles from DC to JMB on the 12th of the month manually as their system probably can't automate it. JCB on the other hand is like a dream to deal with.
