I live behind the Hilton Beijing in Chaoyang - it is near to a few malls and a small silkmarket (Westin hotel - complex). The subway is just 10min walk - Liangmaqiao station. It is just on the exit of the Airport Express way.
The latter two hotels you mentioned are a bit old for my liking.
Taxis are nowadays anyway hard to get in Beijing.
What? The Beijing Hilton and the Chaoyan Ren are two of the oldest western hotels in Beijing, while the Cap Ren and the City Wall Marriott are both ~4 years old. Although I still have a great rate at the Cap Ren that I can extend to others (including lounge), I must admit that quality has fallen off a bit during the course of the past year. And, I wouldn't stay at the City Wall because it is insanely hard to access it. If staying on points, I would probably do the JW or the Hilton Wangfujing.
