I just an email from BA that my departing flight from LHR to VIE has been moved from T3 to T1. I will be arriving into LHR T3 on AA and need to know how to get to T1 (never been to LHR before) and how long that process might take. Also, flying F class on AA and Business on BA so I was planning to use one of the first class lounges in T3 to clean up and shower but now I'm not sure of the proper procedures and how much time I will even have to make the connections. The Heathrow Express train will take you between the terminals. It's pretty efficient, but I'd give yourself 30 minutes to be safe. During the UA/CO merger, NOBODY could figure out where I was flying out of (I got a different answer from every source), so I ended up riding the HE between every one of the terminals before I finally figured it out. I made my connection even after all of that, so as long as you have a bit of extra time you shouldn't have a problem. It's a pretty easy system.
