i.e. I want to go "somewhere" for the weekend. I need to leave Friday after 6pm for airport A or B, and return no later than 1am Monday morning to either airport A or B. I want a direct flight, no more than 5 hours in length, and a hotel that is at least a 4* for the Friday and Saturday nights.
Yes, this is something I would love as well. Sometimes I just want to go somewhere, and I don't care where as long as I'm back in time for an appointment/meeting and it fits within my budget.

I especially love the idea of it allowing any combination of parameters. Maybe it's important for you to be back by Monday and stay in a 4 star hotel, but maybe Joe is willing to stay in a crappier hotel if the price is better. Maybe Alice would prefer to fly nonstop a particular airline, but if a deal is good enough she'll consider other airlines or connections. Maybe Bob wants to take a trip to NYC at some point in the next couple months, and doesn't care which of the 3 airports he flies into, which airline, or how much it costs, as long as it's a direct flight on one of his preferred airlines and there is a 4* hotel available for the length of the stay, which should be between 3 and 5 nights.

This one could be really useful and also also easy for the general public to understand. As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm a bit concerned that something niche like a "mileage run optimizer" might not resonate with the judges and audience at the competition. But maybe f I make something open-ended enough, it can do something generally useful and also cover our niche uses as well.
