Often I just want to go 'somewhere' but not too bothered where. Other may want to be able to specify hotel chain, airline chain etc. but for me, I just want to say when, and direct, and it show me where I can go, for what cost.
I would so love something like this. The airports near me tend to serve fewer than a million passengers a year (and DL has 75% of the gates) and I would so love a way to find great vacation deals that are relevant to me and do not involve a six hour drive one way to get to a large airport in order to take advantage of something out of MCO.
Skyscanner is nice with their 'Everywhere' option, but has its own limitations as well.
