This is my first post here but I've been reading your contributions for quite a while and I must say you've always been very helpful, thank you.

I'm planning a road trip for for 2 weeks (loop between SF/LV/North Nevada and back to SF) early March 2013 and I'll rent my car from Hertz at SFO (prestige class since I want to be sure what i'll be driving).

First question for those who are used to rent from them, are their cars in good condition? I'm asking since had a bad experience at HNL last June where I rented the dirtiest car ever, it was a C70.

Second question, would you rent a SUV or is a full size enough for national parks?

Last question, do you know if they already have 2013 models for GLKs and C class? The infiniti G37 seems to be a great car but I'm not sure this is the best vehicle for this kind of trip.
