There was so much misinformation put out by the cabin crew Union, BASSA (aircraft parked up at Shannon, anyone?) that a clearer perspective was needed.
BASSA is now a shadow of its former self, structurally doomed to a falling membership, and only able to influence things from the sidelines - by leaking information such as this against a specific group of fellow employees against which it still holds a grudge, despite many of its members (including the former Branch Secretary) having recently narrowly escaped criminal prosecution when Unite settled on their behalf a case in which the most unattractive aspects of Union tactics were evidenced.
As a paid up member of BASSA, you may disagree as is your right.
Yawn, why am I not surprised.
