No. But it would indicate that something had actually happened, as one would not expecting a company to suspend staff without something having been reported.
The post I was responding to was that it was in the Sun so not believeable (a fair point) and that you could not trust a BA spokesperson being quoted in the Sun. I do have an issue with that because if someone was claiming to speak for BA who was telling - i nearly said the 'l' word, but that's obviously too emotive a term for the tender sensibilities of this forum

- 'untruths' then it would be fairly straightforward for BA to issue a rebuttal saying staff have not been suspended blah blah blah pr speak. In fairness to the tabloids, they do know to go to the press department for statements such as this (its the path of least resistance and they cannot then be accused of not giving the company a right of reply), and I think while you can question the details in the Sun - as one always should - to try to deny it completely when they are quoting a BA spokesperson is probably a denial too far.
