Peak travel time is starting just then. Schools are breaking up for the summer. I have no idea what the thinking is at BA, and whether something is going on this year that doesn't routinely happen every year; but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the normal release pattern is broken for travel dates from about 18 July. I can't see how the absence of award seats is, in itself, strange.
