I would like to share my positive experience with a new website I have been using since 2 months to book my train tickets in France : www.capitainetrain.com

As opposed to the infamous www.voyages-sncf.com the service is (very) fast and truly intuitive. I have booked several tickets, using all possible services the website is offering (just like is competitor does) and have been really satisfied. Once I had a bug with an e-ticket and their CS has been very helpful.

Still, there are at least 2 main drawbacks IMO : they do not accept Amex (and they won't) and they do not have an iPhone app (but they mentionned on Twitter they are working on it).

Also, the website is available in French only.

I have not any sort of interest in this company nor I know somebody working there but if one is intersted, I have several invitations to share (the site is still in beta testing mode). Feel free to PM me.
