I don't know about using the diamond upgrade certificate here (Although I am Diamond) but I booked a corner room/suite on points for 3 nights and I was put in one of what appeared to be one of two penthouses on the top floor with a nice large balcony ^.

If you have time, try the chicken and waffles for breakfast in the brass restaurant attached to the hotel.
