So, for some info on MIA on AA>AA, an enormous difference between Domestic>International and International>Domestic.

For International>Domestic, I believe the MCT is about 2hrs, but I always prefer to leave a little more (though I've done it, without checked bags, in under 40minutes....but you have to be lucky with border control).

On the other hand, an AA>AA Domestic>International is just the same as AA>AA Domestic>Domestic, ie just disembark and walk (airside) to your next gate. That is no more than 15-20 minutes from walking off one aircraft to boarding the next.

Recently I did just that. My first flight was delayed so only had 40 minutes between landing and next flight. Not only did we make it, but so did our checked bags (bonus!).

All that said, I'd be a little uncomfortable with anything less than 75 minutes Domestic>International.
