Assuming you're trying to do this as an award, if the inventory is available just phone it in. Should price as BKK-SYD + SYD-JFK, assuming you spend less than 24 hours in BKK on the return.

If you're trying to do this as a revenue ticket then using the United site is definitely a bad idea.
