Yes, it's legal; don't do it

1. If the question is whether this is a legal connection, the answer is "yes."

2. However, this is downright foolish to attempt because it's not as though the next flight is an hour later.

3. It's also foolish because it's not 45 mins, it's really 30 mins. At T-15, if the flight is oversold, your seat goes to a SB and AA doesn't have to pay VDB/IDB to anybody. 30 Mins. isn't much time from sitting in your seat on the inbound to the gatereader for the outbound.

4. There's no tolerance for anything here and a slight course deviation, trainee GA maneuvering the jetway, etc., means you're late.
