Sufficient connecting traffic has always been the problem with shorthaul/domestics at LGW hasnt it !

For the record i agree with you about Cityflyer and especially the E190, They could bring in some extra aircraft to the bases at EDI and GLA and have those aircraft operate the first flights out each morning

Is it still the reason that it hasnt happened due to the scope agreement or whatever its called, meaning only mainline pilots can operate scheduled flights into LHR and LGW ? They got away with it recently when they used Cityflyer to cover for a tech aircraft on a Saturday by calling it a charter
