This question is related to Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles.

I attained Premier Elite status (45K miles) on August 31, 2012. I have 2 upcoming MNL-LAX in November and December. Is it possible to have these 2 trips' mileage not credited this year by not giving my Mabuhay Miles # during check-in (hence no lounge access and no possibility of op-up), then submitting a retroactive credit of miles on January 2013? Will these 2 trips be counted towards 2013 elite status or will they still apply retroactively to 2012?

Any ideas or suggestions?
