New GIMLI GLIDER on Air TransAt flight to Portugal
Newsworld is reporting that an Air TransAt flight from Canada [flight originated in YYZ] to Portugal made an unscheduled emergency landing in the Azores this morning after the pilot discovered the plane had been leaking fuel. According to the report which just aired, the plane's various systems shut down as the pilot made a powerless landing at the island's airport. A few injuries reported. Here is a link:
