If I recall correct you dont "check out" of the lounge, I guess I could try that swap the boarding card routine, take the wife into lounge with child board pass, as they dont check that too careful, then return saying I had already checked in which they could verify, I suppose that would sort it, provided I used a different person when going in, and maybe change my coat or something.

I am sure its possible, its just how you do it that would be the issue
Why not just go and have a lovely family meal in Plane Food rather than splitting yourselves up just to get one over on the rules......?
