I'm impressed that DL is giving you the fetch and deliver service for your luggage repairs. I hope the repair facility is authorized to do repairs for your brand.

As for the advice that you should have asked for a loaner, my response would be absolutely not! I can't imagine putting clean clothes into luggage that has been used by a stranger. This seems like a good way to get lice, bedbugs or worse. ICK!
