But how does OLCI fit with that? If you have a boarding pass and no bags then does it simply become a question of how much risk you are willing to take that the flight really is late? Do bags need to be checked an hour before scheduled departure?

Personally I have a low tolerance for risk so I'd be at the airport anyway, but I am a little curious what the possibilities are.
