Was just on a 737-800 and the power ports weren't working (upgraded but it had ports through e+).
The flight attendant suggested I needed a 3 prong plug otherwise it wouldn't work.
Sounds fishy to me (and a stupid limitation if that is the case).
Any chance she is correct?

Also had personal video in seat back, though not quite "on-demand")
