VS once lost my bags during an interline with UA. When I went to the VS desk at LHR, I was told it was MY fault for interlining (I had no choice, as my first flight was on a tiny UA prop. Both UA and VS told me it would be fine to interline when I called to inquire). No help at all. And as per VS policy I sent a reimbursement claim for the clothes I had to buy, and never heard anything back, not even a rejection of the request. I had to get my insurance company to twist their arm in the end.
