Oh, wait, I remember, they are the ones offering the fantastic "Check and Send" service where they .... errr .... make sure you've filled in the form properly and charge you £8.75 for the pleasure.... the £8.75 being of course
on top of the actual fee for renewing the passport.

To be fair check and send is a good service seems to get priority, I used it last year and got a new passport in 2 working days send Wednesday evening new one back Monday.
