Another point that shows your complete lack of familiarity with the LAN product is the duvet, as LAN's duvets are way softer and more comfortable than the ones JJ provides in F (which by the way are the same as J except the linings tend to be red instead of green).
The major advantage of JJ F over LA J is the exclusive 4-person cabin and the outstanding, highly personalized ground services JJ provides to F pax.
p.s. Since you are new to FlyerTalk, you may want to know that citing JJ's web site is not very helpful, as the site often has glitches and not the most up to date information (it only took JJ two years to include an honest description of the pathetic F product intra S America, i.e., you only get the 4-person cabin and all the other services are the same as J).
Well I flew TAM yesterday from FRA to RIO yesterday and the seats did recline 180%. The headrest is a little heavy and protrudes out so you may think its not 180 degrees. Anyway I have flown LAN over a dozen times in J (lax-lim-gru. sfo-lim-gru and again no comparison.
